PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
November 28, 2007
Mount Hamilton Youth Soccer Club Members,Another season gone by and another season is just around the corner. As published in our 2007 Season’s Guide our Annual General Meeting was on October 16th, 2007. This years AGM was attended by the more members than we have seen in years. This is a significant sign of things to come. The first web based survey was last season and over two hundred members took the time to communicate their thoughts and opinions through this survey. We would like to thank everyone who participated in the survey and we will continue to use this important tool to assist us in ensuring the MHYSC continues to provide the soccer programs that are important to our members. While there was a need to increase our rates for the 2008 season we will be implementing programs that will, over time, become revenue generating programs. This will assist in supporting the club’s financial and club goals while minimizing future costs to our members. We will also be auditing our financial position, as we have in the past, and allowing access to our monthly statements to our current members, upon request. We will continue to provide recreational and competitive soccer programs and we are in the process of hiring a Head Coach to provide an enhanced development program for both House League and Competitive Coaches. We will also continue to work with local community organizations such as The Optimist Club and YSAN to provide a soccer program for those in our community who otherwise would not be able to participate. I would like to thank all the coaches that have assisted us in providing soccer to the Hamilton Mountain Community and Area. We invite you to continue being a part of our community and our improved coach development program. In closing I would like to send a heart warming thank you to the past MHYSC executive for the many hours that were dedicated to the MHYSC and the children of our community. I look forward to the 2008 and many great soccer seasons to come.
Yours in Soccer, John Di DonatoPresidentMount Hamilton Youth Soccer Club
